Walk With Ease

The Department of Parks and Recreation was recently awarded a grant from the National Recreation and Park Association to implement Walk with Ease (WWE), a free six week exercise program developed by the Arthritis Foundation, that aims to reduce the pain of arthritis and improve overall health for our Prince George's County residents.

Program Overview

WWE classes are one-hour long and are offered three times per week, for six weeks. They consist of a combination of health education as well as warm up/cool down and walking exercises. Classes are taught by Arthritis Foundation-certified leaders, and are open to all county residents.
