Undaunted in Battle Monument Dedication
Attend this unveiling ceremony of a monument dedicated to the service men & women who fought and died defending Washington, D.C. on August 24, 1814. Program includes dignitaries, a Marine Band, and a Sea Services Color Guard. Monument site located at 4100 Baltimore Ave.

Battle of Bladensburg Festival
Visit the Battle of Bladensburg Festival, featuring British and American troops; a historic demonstration village; arts and crafts vendors; and boat and trolley tours. Then, listen to four War of 1812 authors discuss the battle or at 3 pm watch a reenactment of  the Battle. Food and beverages will be provided for sale until 7:30 pm.

Celebrate America with Music and Fireworks
Enjoy performances by local music and dance groups. Stay for the U.S. Navy Commodores that will perform patriotic, swing, and jazz music, ending with "The Star-Spangled Banner" as the fireworks extravaganza begins at 8:45 pm.
