Educational Programs

Marietta Museum is open to the public and offers exhibits, lectures, events and programs covering more than 300 years of Prince George’s County history. Marietta  also is home to the Natural and Historical Resources Division Library of County History.

The Prince George’s County Historical Society hosts a lecture series at Marietta every August.  Please call 301-464-5291 for information on the next lecture series.  

Marietta Museum offers a variety of programs for schools, camps, and Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups.  The programs support the observation, analytical and decision-making skills listed within the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum.  For information on the specific programmatic offerings as well as instructions on how to book an educational program, please contact Marietta Museum staff at 301-464-5291.
