The grounds of Mount Calvert Historical and Archaeological Park are open every day from dawn until approximately one hour before sunset for drive-in, walk-in, or paddle-in visitors. Guests are also welcome to launch canoes, kayaks, and SUPs at the new soft launch on Western Branch. Paddlers are permitted to drive to the small beach to load or unload their boats and then park vehicles at the top of the hill. Swimming, fishing, and launching boat trailers are prohibited.
