Between Memory and Dream presents the work of Anna Demovidova, whose paintings and mixed-media works move fluidly between lived experience and imagined space. Drawing from candid moments and personal memory, Demovidova creates intimate scenes where figures become emotional stand-ins, expressing states of grief, tenderness, vigilance, and resilience. Nature appears as a protective, symbolic presence, while everyday rituals: meals, tea, and quiet pauses become acts of care and survival. Through layered brushwork and a combination of acrylic, drawing, and printmaking, her work explores solitude not as isolation, but as a vital space for reflection, endurance, a sense of play and problem solving along with self-renewal.
